Indigo The Hague
Former building dutch central bank
Indigo The Hague
The building of Hotel Indigo possesses many typical features and elaborate details. Original features of the former Dutch Central Bank are still present in the building; a round safe dividing the exceptionally high ceiling on the ground floor, stained glass windows, natural stone tiles, and old window sills. This story and the local characteristics were the source of inspiration for the decorations in the hotel. The proximity of the work palace and private palace of the Dutch Royal House also served as a source of inspiration. The elements of this theme are reflected in a range of different decorations. The bars of gold have been gone for a long time, but due to the decorations we created, it still feels as if you are staying in a real bank building.
